RNAV Approach Task Force (RATF)
The RNAV Approach Task Force coordinates the activities necessary for the implementation of RNAV Approach and missed approach procedures. It concentrates on the final approach segment but also ensures that the transition from initial and intermediate approach segments is addressed where appropriate.
The Task Force covers all issues necessary for the operational implementation of RNAV Approaches in order to support the ECIP Objectives NAV-07 and NAV-08. The types of approach operations to be addressed include:
- RNP APP
- RNP APP with Baro VNAV
- RNP AR APP
- SBAS (LPV)
The RNP operations are as defined in the ICAO PBN Manual.
